23rd Annual Challenge Cup Scramble

The Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers’ Club will be hosting the 23rd Annual Challenge Cup Golf Scramble on Tuesday, June 23rd, at the University Club Golf Course. Registration will begin at 11:00 AM and we will tee-off at 12:00 PM.

Participants from earlier years know how much fun this event has been, and it is our goal to keep up the status as the largest charity golf scramble in this area. Last year’s scramble included 60 registered teams!

The Kentucky Equine Management Internship program (KEMI) and the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation (TRF) will again be the primary recipients the proceeds from this year’s charity golf scramble. We are thankful for the continued support provided by the community. We hope you will enjoy helping make this event beneficial for our charitable recipients.

This is your invitation to take part in this year’s Challenge Cup Golf Scramble as a Corporate and/or Hole Sponsor. You may also simply register as a team or individual player. Your support will help provide for these worthy charities, and will allow you to enjoy the competitiveness of this event.

For past sponsors, we thank you for your continued support. For those sponsoring for the first time, we hope you will enjoy this event as much as all of us that have participated in the past. We look forward to seeing you there!

  • Box lunch will be provided in the carts, and a barbecue dinner will follow the golf scramble. Beer, water, and soft drinks will be provided on the course, please do not bring your own.
  • There will be a first, second and third place team winner for both courses and an overall champion team decided by a one hole playoff between the first place team from each course.
  • The team closest to the pin and team with the longest drive will also be awarded prizes.
  • Dress Code: All guests must wear appropriate golf attire. This would exclude items such as cut-off, tanks, t-shirts, and jeans.
  • Teams should have an A,B,C, and D level player. A minimum of two drives per player must be used during the 18 holes of play. Teams are formed without KTFMC input, but individual entries will be placed on a team that is not full by our Golf Scramble committee members.
